She was brought up in Delhi.
Professionally Kriti was a GST inspector. However, she decided to turn to acting after she found herself under probe in a money laundering case of INR 263 crore in February 2023. She also allegedly received funds from Panvel-based businessman and former Income Tax Inspector, Tanaji Mandal Adhikari.
Later in September 2023, she was included in the chargesheet in ₹263 crore fraudulent TDS refund case along with 13 other people.
Kriti joined the YouTube community with her self-titled channel on May 2, 2014.
