Maella, an Alt Pop artist from Prague, based in London, shared her new single “Tudu Tudu Tu.” The new single is featured on Maella’s latest EP titled “Slow Burn,” a 4-tracks alt pop collection that showcases her songwriting skills, and performance talents.
“Tudu Tudu Tu” is a dancefloor ready track that blend edm, pop and indie. Maella delivers a genre borderless single that fuses influences, and sounds from different inspirations. As the press release notes, “Tudu Tudu Tu” is a cowboy hat wearing, alt-indie pop track: Western style guitar, pulsing synth basslines and cowbell filled drums coupled with lyrics about moving on from a relationship and choosing yourself.

After a year of developing her own production skills and a period of sonic reinvention, Maella has been refining her new dark alt-pop sound to much acclaim. Each of her previous singles have been played on BBC Introducing London, with Jess Iszat ‘falling in love’ with her ‘stunning’ sound, and providing her with a BBC introducing Featured Artist slot and multiple placements on various New Music Fridays. Maella has also been asked to be October’s ambassador for Spotify Equals.
