BURGER King's Shroom N' Swiss Whopper Melt is back, but not everyone is happy with it.

The fast food giant is being slammed online for a sandwich they're claiming is not what it seems like on TV.

Last year, Burger King brought back its three Whopper Melt sandwiches — the Whopper Melt, Spicy Whopper Melt, and Bacon Whopper Melt.

From there it began testing a Shroom N' Swiss Whopper Melt for a limited launch.

Now, anyone in the nation can get their hands on the special sandwich, but it appears not everyone wants to.

The Shroom N' Swiss Whopper Melt contains a pair of two-ounce Whopper Jr. patties, melted Swiss cheese, roasted mushrooms, and royal sauce sandwiched between two slices of bread.

One customer posted a photo of the sandwich recently on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, to express their gripes with the infamous meal.

"This is the sourdough mushroom burger sandwich they advertise on TV it’s a lot smaller and not even toasted like the show."

The tweet features a photo of the whopper as pictured above.

Another user quote tweeted the post and said: "This is the Mushroom Swiss Sourdough Melt! Really??? Tiny burgers slapped between two pieces of raw, untoasted, pieces of white bread!"

Burger King responded in a tweet, imploring the user to send the fast food chain a direct message.

"I don’t know how to DM" the user responded, "but that’s the picture of your sandwich we purchased at the Morro Bay, CA location…pretty pathetic for sure."

Prices may vary per location, but the Shroom n' Swiss Melt was priced at $7.49 at a Manhattan Burger King according to The Daily Meal.

BRINGING IT BACK

Fast food chains frequently bring back fan favorite menu items and most of them aren't flopping.

Burger King recently brought back its cheesy tots side dish after a long hiatus.

The U.S. previously reported on the excitement fans shared in upon hearing the news.

"I wish they would sell them frozen in stores...I'd buy a big bag all the time," one Reddit user wrote.

Burger King isn't the only place to roll back old favorites.

Popeye's announced it is permanently adding chicken wings to the menu, in a decision that one fan called a "miracle."

And pizza fans will be pleased to know that Little Caesar's has gone "crazy" after it unveiled the new stuffed crust.
